1 The advanced crossguard
design uses the corners of the safe to protect the bolts, forcing
any door or door jam attackers to stage at least 2 separate
attacks on each of the 4 sides of the door. This innovative
design also serves as an explosive deterrent, offering over
200% more body/door cohesion than traditional boltworks.
2 The door is formed by an outer plate of anti-penetration armor
covering the entire door and inner plates of carbon steel. The
door is compressed with 14,000 PSI aggregate/stainless steel
compound and reinforced by a steel grid. The door is 6.75"
thick.
3 Utilizing the same materials as the door, the body complements
the Crossguard Bolts by forming a defense barrier around each
bolt. The 3.75" thick body has an alarm access hole in
the right rear corner.
4 Six armed
relockers are ready to trigger when attacked. Sensitive to
heating, drilling, cutting, punching, or any alteration, the
tempered glass plates control the firing sequence.
5 A heavy, solid door must have a solid hinge. The Super Fortress
uses a bushing type, ball bearing hinge that is adjustable.
The hinge has a 90° lift-off capability for ease of handling
during delivery.
6 Each model comes with adjustable
shelves, formed on 4 sides and rated for 150 lbs. each. Additional
shelves, locking drawers, and custom lockers are available
as options.
7 Two separate locking devices are standard. The UL Group
II combination lock is factory set on "50" so you
can choose your own combination during delivery. The 7-lever
key lock is provided with 3 keys with detachable bits.
8 Our tri-spoke handle slides the massive Crossguard Bolts
securely into their sockets. The pull handle is used exclusively
to open and close the door.
9 The Super Fortress bears a 2 Hour fire label after passing
a test of 1850° F, while maintaining the interior temperature
less than 350° F.
